Repair Definition Response Time

Emergency

Any situation where immediate danger to the property, or the tenant or a member of the public is reported, generally a response is required within 3 hours of a call being received.  E.g Fire or the Building has collapsed, Water/Roof leak.

 Urgent

Where there is a substantial inconvenience made to tenant but no immediate threat to health or the security of the property, a response will be made within 3 working days. E.g No heating or hot water.

 Routine Work

Maintenance works that are non urgent will be carried out within 7 working days and is causing no immediate danger to the tenant. Please complete the form below:

 

Routine Repairs Reporting Form - This form should only be used to report Routine Repairs.

Note

There are exclusions within all categories, except emergencies, when timescales are impossible to be met. These include where materials cannot be obtained in time such as double glazed units. Also where the size of the work is so large it cannot be done in the timescale such as in very large changes of tenancy. In these cases realistic targets are set.
